Do you really know the mandatory maintenance content during the running-in period of a new forklift?

 

The running in period during which a new forklift is used within the specified operating time is also known as the running in period. The working characteristics of the internal combustion forklift during the running-in period are: the machined surface of the parts is relatively rough, the lubrication efficiency is poor, the wear is intensified, and the fasteners are easy to loosen. Therefore, it is necessary to start using and mandatory maintenance according to the regulations of the internal combustion forklift running-in period.

The mandatory maintenance period for the running-in period of internal combustion forklifts is 50 hours from the beginning of use, and the specific content is as follows:

1、 The preliminary maintenance mainly involves inspecting the forklift and preparing for use.

1. Clean the entire forklift;

2. Check and tighten the external bolts, nuts, pipeline joints, clamps, and safety locking devices of all vehicle assemblies;

3. Check the entire vehicle for oil and water leakage;

4. Check the oil, Gear oil, hydraulic oil and coolant level;

5. Lubricating all lubrication points of the entire vehicle;

6. Check the tire pressure and wheel hub bearing tightness of the new forklift;

7. Check the connection of the steering wheel toe in, steering angle, and various components of the steering system of the new forklift;

8. Check and adjust the free stroke of the forklift clutch and brake pedal, as well as the stroke of the parking brake lever, and check the braking efficiency of the braking device;

9. Check and adjust the tightness of the V-belt;

10. Check the electrolyte level, density, and load voltage of the forklift battery;

11. Check the operation of various instruments, lighting, signals, switch buttons, and accompanying equipment;

12. Check the stroke of the hydraulic system distribution valve control lever and the stroke of each working hydraulic cylinder;

13. Check and adjust the tightness of the lifting chain;

14. Check the operation of the gantry and forks;

2、 The mid-term maintenance is usually carried out after 25 hours of operation.

1. Check and tighten the cylinder head and intake and exhaust manifold bolts and nuts of the forklift engine;

2. Check and adjust the valve clearance;

3. Lubricating all lubrication points of the entire vehicle;

4. Replace the forklift engine lubricating oil;

5. Check the sealing and leakage of the lifting hydraulic cylinder, tilting hydraulic cylinder, steering hydraulic cylinder, and distribution valve.

3、 The later stage of maintenance is generally carried out 50 hours after the operation of a new forklift.

 1. Clean the entire forklift;

 2. Remove the gasoline/diesel engine speed limiting device;

 3. Clean the lubrication system of the forklift engine, replace the forklift engine oil and oil filter element, and clean all ventilation devices of the entire vehicle;

 4. Clean the transmission, torque converter, drive axle, steering system, and hydraulic system of the working device, and replace the lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, and hydraulic oil. Clean the filter screens of each oil tank;

 5. Clean the air filters of each forklift;

 6. Clean the fuel filter, gasoline pump settling cup, and filter screen, and discharge the sediment from the fuel tank;

 7. Check the tightness and lubrication of the forklift hub bearings;

 8. Check and tighten the bolts, nuts, and safety locking devices on the exterior of all vehicle assemblies;

9. Check the braking efficiency;

10. Check and adjust the tightness of the V-belt;

11. Check the electrolyte level, density, and load voltage of the forklift battery;

12. Check the working condition of the forklift working device;

13. Lubrication of all lubrication points on the entire vehicle。
